Heat Safety Week 2025

479 workers in the U.S. died from exposure to high temperatures from 2011-2022 according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. NASA reported that last summer was the hottest on record.

It is Heat Safety Week. Don't put the health and safety of your team at risk.

Having the right tools to prevent heat-related illnesses is a high priority as we head into summer. 

· acclimatization plan

· buddy system

· frequent rest breaks and hydration 

· appropriate clothing (Recommendations from NIOSH)

All of that begins with vigilant Environmental Monitoring.

CWS offers two different professional systems to help monitor for heat stress:

➡️ Wet Bulb Globe Temperature provides a commonly used measurement for public safety.

➡️ Thermal Work Limit reports a comprehensive calculation with additional environmental factors.

Both Heat Stress Monitoring Systems incorporate an ISO standard 150mm Black Globe Temperature Sensor.
