Celebrating World Wetlands Day 2022

Wetlands play an important role in the ecosystem by filtering rainwater, controlling erosion, and providing habitat for thousands of wildlife species. This World Wetlands Day, we’re highlighting two customers whose weather stations provide important environmental data and contribute to the preservation of water and natural habitat. 

🌾 Jackson Bottom Wetlands Preserve and Education Center connects water, wildlife, and people, with a long history of wetlands mitigation and restoration. Click here to read more.

🌾 Talking Waters Albany returns treated water safely back to the Willamette River through a process that mimics the cleansing and cooling processes that occur in nature, providing a habitat for wildlife and public walking trails. Click here to read more.
