The vehicle sports a Magellan MX600 mounted on the roof, allowing meteorologists to track real-time wind speed/direction, temperature, pressure, relative humidity, and rainfall with an internal compass and GPS for automatic wind direction alignment.
The NBC5 weather team visits schools to give kids a look into life as a broadcast meteorologist and the importance of tracking the weather. |
